One problem with posting your old work, especially work that is going on 4 years old, is that you are fundamentally not satisfied with it because it isn’t up to your current standards. You see things that are technically problematic, a lot. Its easy to lose sight of what you were excited with on that work to begin with.

It’s worth it for me to remember why I write and draw comics: Having fun. I am under no illusion of being a great artist, and I know I need more practice as a writer, but I like being able to push myself and see a decernable improvement. Sometimes though it’s hard for me too see that this is supposed to be a fun endevor, and thats when things can slow down. On the bright side, I am having fun getting started now, and I can’t wait till You Can’t Go Home Again goes live. It’s not ready yet, so I think I shall keep to my schedule, but when it does go up I hope you see something new and fresh, and can tell that I am having fun.
